January Challenge Achievements

This year there were 1636 scores submitted by archers around the country to Archery GB for the ‘Archery GB January Challenge’ and the participation was up on previous years across the board.

Simon emailed me the results over the weekend and I was pleased to note that Archers of Raunds are represented in the rankings:

Shooting in Class 4 (Ladies Beginners Recurve), Imogen Neville secured a wonderful 5th place with a score of 538.  That was just one point off of 4th place and just 22 points from the top spot.  There were 84 archers who posted scores in this category, so 5th is a great result.  Deanna secured 22nd place in the same category.

Amber Wilkins was placed 34th out of 204 entrants in Class 5 (Ladies Recurve) with a score of 541 and another brilliant performance in a tough class.

Simon also participated for WOAC and he secured a fine 34th place in Class 2 (Gents Recurve) with a score of 573.  Considering there were 500 archers in his category, this is another wonderful achievement.

Very well done to all of you.
