NCAS County and Open Indoor Championships – (UK Record Status)

Archers of Raunds are proud to be hosting this event again on behalf of NCAS.

The tournament is NCAS County and Open Indoor Championships and is a Portsmouth event.

Update: All sessions for the Tournament are now full. There is a waiting list available, please contact the Tournament Officer for more information.

Round:
Portsmouth, Recurve & Traditional archers will shoot on a single face target, Compound archers will shoot on a triple face target.

Registration:
Registration will be open from 8.30am. Archery GB Membership cards will be required for booking in. If you are not yet in possession of a valid card, please bring proof that you have paid your membership.

Session A – Assembly 8:45am | Sighters: 9.00am **
Session B – Assembly 11:45pm | Sighters: 12:00pm
Session C – Assembly 2.45pm | Sighters: 3.00pm

Awards:
Awards for single and double rounds subject to the number of entrants for each category. If shooting more than one session, only the first will count for purposes of awards.

Juniors:

Ages for junior archers are subject to AGB rule 308 (b):

308(b) Age Groups (i) An archer may compete in a junior age group where the tournament take place up to and in the year of their birthday prior to the limit on the category. (e.g. if they turned 17 in a year they can compete in an U18 category, but they cannot turn 18 in the year). An archer may compete for an award shooting a round in a higher age group than their own.

Refreshments:
Hot food (burgers and bacon rolls), cold snacks, teas, coffees and cold drinks.

Photography:
The provisions within the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adult’s policy, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not take place, Archery GB, the Tournament Organiser and working party cannot be held responsible for breaches of this code. We therefore request that you report any unauthorised photography directly to the Tournament Organiser.

Entry:
Single round: £15, Two rounds: £30, Three rounds: £45
Cheques payable to ‘Archers Of Raunds’ or bank transfer to BSC 20-45-77 Acc No. 30695416. Please use Archer name and NCAS-AoR-2024 as a reference on the reverse of cheques and for bank transfers, and send a completed entry form to the Tournament Organiser.

Closing Date:
7 days prior to competition date, or when the shoot is full. Payment will be expected for all entries submitted. All refunds will be at the discretion of the Tournament Organiser, but NONE will be made after the closing date.
A target list and results will be published on the Northamptonshire County Archery Society website www.ncasarchery.org.uk after the closing date and competition as appropriate.

Notes:
The Organisers cannot take any responsibility for injury or any loss from, or damage to, any vehicle, equipment or personal possessions howsoever caused.
Under whatever circumstances, ALL MISSING arrows must be found. Please contact the organiser prior to the shoot if you need any clarification on what arrows can be used.
There are two car parks at the school which should provide ample parking, however, there is also parking available on the streets just outside of the school. Once through the main gate, there is ramp access to get to the main school entrance and the doors are wide enough to accommodate wheelchair users. Toilets are by the main entrance to the hall and up the slight ramp, follow it around to the right and they are on the left.

  1. Hi, I entered my son, Archie Longley Towcester Archer’s U14, but see he is not on the target list. I paid and received confirmation of entry, saying I will hear from the organisers nearer the time but have not received anything from you. Please could you get back to me as to what has happened Many thanks Naomi Longley.
