Many of you will have heard about Brad’s amazing success at the recent Youth Olympics in Nanjing recently.
Mick is sending out a press release, so I won’t go into too much detail here, but needless to say everyone at AoR is super proud of Brad who achieved a place in the quarter finals of the individual competition and was placed 8th out of 32 archers, being beaten by the silver medal winner. In the mixed competition, Brad partnered Japan’s Miasa Koike and they ranked 5th following a stunning shoot off. Watch the online videos of that match and you’ll see just how amazing Brad shot, with a ten during each set, including a 10 for his last arrow, despite needing more than was available to go through.
Anyway, hot off of this success Brad will be on BBC Northampton radio this afternoon. I have a work commitment and for this reason Mick Bowerman will be taking to spotlight on the interview. You can catch both Brad and Mick at around 3.20 (I’d be listening from just after 3.00 if I did not have other business commitments.
So tune in and find out from Brad what it was like shooting in the Youth Olympics for the first time.
