… Bradley is on his way!!!
As many of you will know, Bradley headed off to the selection shoot for the forthcoming Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China where Archery GB will be fielding a full squad of Junior and Cadet Compound archers and Junior and Cadet Recurve archers.
I think that the qualifying score is made up of a number of components, being Bradley’s qualification score for Korea added to the weekend’s score and then they go through to a head to head shoot off. Anyway, Bradley qualified 2nd and then he had to wait until today to find out whether he was lucky enough to make the squad.
Qualifying 2nd following his freak accident the weekend before was a great achievement, but I have just learned that he has made the team. He will be shooting as a Recurve Cadet archer and joining Tom Howse and Patrick Huston to form the gents cadet team and Becky Martin and Bryony Pitman who will form the ladies cadet team.
Well done Bradley, a great achievement and a well deserved selection. I hope that you and the team have a great tournament in China and that you get to bring home a small chunk of metal.
