Welcome to AoR Archery Club

One stop club that can provide all of your archery needs

Archers of Raunds History

Archers of Raunds (AoR) was formed on the 8th July 1971 to provide local archers with a place to shoot and to help introduce new archers into the world of target archery. The club’s current membership stretches back over 10 years and it currently shoots at Manor School Sports College, in Raunds, Northamptonshire. However, over the years AoR has had its shooting base in Rushden, Wellingborough, Souldrop and near Newton Bromswold.

Our Vision

Our club is dedicated to creating a welcoming and supportive community for archery enthusiasts of all skill levels. Our vision is to promote the sport of archery by providing exceptional coaching, fostering camaraderie, and nurturing individual growth.

AoR has great indoor and outdoor venues, equipment, coaching and progression. Because of this we are best placed to help you achieve your goals.

Our Club

We strive for all of our members to achieve what they want out of Archery. Whether that is to come along and shoot a few arrows and have a chat with friends or to become more involved and move into competitions and hopefully shoot for the County or GB.

Why choose us?

All of our members, whether casual or competing at local and County tournament level, believe that one of  the most important parts of the club is the atmosphere of friendliness and fun we project and share.

We put on various fun shoots around holiday seasons for all the family to be involved in.

Once you have completed your Beginners Course, we will continue with your Progression and Development of your skills and technique.

We run regular sessions which allows anyone to try archery and then they can move onto the longer Beginners Course.
