Welcome to Archers of Raunds

Next Tournament: 18/09/2016 - St George, Albion and Windsor Open Tournament

Located in Raunds, East Northamptonshire, Archers of Raunds (AoR) provides local archers with an active, friendly and inclusive archery club. In addition, AoR provides regular opportunities for archers from the surrounding area to join AoR club members for competitive shooting at all levels and covering numerous archery categories.

This website will help you to learn more about what AoR can offer you as a beginner or as an experienced archer. The club maintains a year round shooting calendar to suit all needs and it regularly runs beginners courses which lead to certification that is readily accepted by most GNAS (Archery GB) affiliated clubs in the UK. The club is also proud to feature a strong Juniors Section which includes several members who shoot for the county (NCAS) and who hold county records.

We hope that you find this website informative and we look forward to welcoming you to the club sometime very soon.

Please Contact Us to ask any questions that you might have or to arrange a complimentary have-a-go seesion at the club on a Friday evening.

    Beginners

Archers of Raunds are proud to retain a number of Archery GB qualified coaches.

Following Archery GB guidelines, the club regularly offers a five week course with each session lasting around two hours.

The clubs primary aim is to teach beginners the basic T-Draw technique and to provide them with a solid foundation on which to build their archery skills.

This has resulted in a large number of juniors and seniors going on to win medals at tournaments in the surrounding region and to shoot for NCAS, England and ArcheryGB.

Our Beginners pages include details of our next available course date and future dates as they are released. The pages also provide further details about the lessons.

This has become a longstanding favourite tournament in the region and attended by archers over a wide area.

The club's Tournaments Pages have full details of forthcoming tournaments, entry details, previous result sheets and much more.

These tournaments get booked up quickly, so to avoid any disappointment, please register your interest as soon as possible.
