Last weekend was quite a weekend for AoR’s juniors.
Although Sunday was a blustery old day with a horrible wind that seemed to be coming from every direction and which saw a few people struggling and giving up:
Imogen Neville battled on to set a new Ladies U16 Short Metric club record with a score of 229.
Lauren powered through the wind to set both a new AoR club record and a new NCAS county record (her first county record) with a score of 467 for the Short Metric II round.
Bradley was unable to shoot at AoR as he was off at Lilleshall shooting against forty three of the counties best young archers all fighting for a place on the squad that will be heading off to Slovenia shortly. Not only did Bradley secure a place in the Recurve Cadet Men category for the tournament in Slovenia, but he did it in style by winning the selection shoot and all of his head-to-head rounds. Bradley will be joining Jon Bull (Targetcraft) who will be shooting in the Compound Junior Men category.

The seniors were also not to be left out. On Sunday Christine Marshall headed over to Nene Bowmen and she posted a new AoR club record for the American Round with a score of 646.
