SUMMARY:AoR Internal Dartchery Tournament
DESCRIPTION:Dartchery is a sport that can be best described as a combination of darts and archery. In dartchery athletes use bows and arrows typically used for archery\, but the target used is a dartboard. The sport was part of the Summer Paralympics until 1980 after which it was discontinued. \nMatches can be played as singles or in teams. In a match\, teams alternate to shoot the target from a 20 yard mark. Each player or team gets to shoot three arrows during each turn. Points are awarded for each shot depending on where it falls within the target circle. \nThe game play and scoring is similar to that of darts\, where players start from 301 points and reduce their points with each shot. The objective is to end the game with an exact zero score. If the score falls below zero in a turn\, the score is reverted back and the player has to continue taking turns until perfect zero is achieved. The player to first reach zero is declared as the winner of the match.

DESCRIPTION:It will be a Worcester Round so will be as follows: \nDistance: 20yds (18m) – Arrows: 5 Dozen Arrows  – Target Face: Special 16″ Black and White – 5 zone scoring \nThere will be one sighter end consisting of 5 arrows per end.  All ends will be 5 arrows per end. \nA Worcester round uses a special black and white face\, containing 4 black rings scoring 1 through to 4 and the centre white scoring 5. \nThe Worcester round is shot at 2 faces\, one above the other. You shoot your first 30 arrows at one face and the next 30 at the other. \nThere is no set order to shooting either top or bottom\, however 2 archers can share a pair of targets\, with one archer shooting at one face and the other archer shooting at the other face\, swapping after 30 arrows. You do not get any further sighter arrows when you swap faces. \nFor compound archers\, there is also 5 spot face scoring zones 5 and 4 only. This is to help prevent arrow damage and wear on the targets \nSighters will commence at 13:15 and the scoring round will be 13:25. \nLate arrivals will not be able to participate in the scoring round and may need to set up separate bosses (subject to room and availability) whilst the scoring round archers are scoring. \nIf you are not participating in the scoring round then you must not hold up the shooting line!

DESCRIPTION:It will be a Portsmouth Round so will be as follows: \nDistance: 20yds (18m) – Arrows: 5 Dozen Arrows  – Target Face: 60cm single spot (3 spot for Compounds) \nThere will be two sighter ends consisting of 3 arrows per end.  All ends will be 3 arrows per end. \nThe 2 inner gold rings both count as 10 for recurve\, but only the inner ‘X’ ring counts 10 for a compound archer\, moving out to 9 for the outer gold\, 8 and 7 for the 2 red rings etc. down to 2 and 1 for the white rings. \nSighters will commence at 13:15 and the scoring round will be 13:25. \nLate arrivals will not be able to participate in the scoring round and may need to set up separate bosses (subject to room and availability) whilst the scoring round archers are scoring. \nIf you are not participating in the scoring round then you must not hold up the shooting line!

DESCRIPTION:It will be a Vegas Round so will be as follows: \nDistance: 18m – Arrows: 2.5 Dozen Arrows  – Target Face: 40cm Triangle Spot or 40cm face – 10 zone scoring \nThere will be two sighter ends consisting of 3 arrows per end.  All ends will be 3 arrows per end and shot within two minutes using Timing Method 2 . \nA Vegas 300 round is shot on a special face containing three 40cm sized faces arranged in a triangle (or a single 40cm face)\, however the outer 5 scoring zones (from blue 5 out to white 1) are removed\, each target is numbered. \nArrows must be numbered and shot in ascending numerical sequence shooting at each target in the correct numerical sequence. \nLike the Worcester\, targets are placed one above the other and 15 arrows are shot at the first faces followed by 15 arrows at the second face. \nSighters will commence at 13:15 and the scoring round will be 13:25. \nLate arrivals will not be able to participate in the scoring round and may need to set up separate bosses (subject to room and availability) whilst the scoring round archers are scoring. \nIf you are not participating in the scoring round then you must not hold up the shooting line!
