Expected to open at the end of 2025. \nRound:\nPortsmouth\, Recurve & Traditional archers will shoot on a single face target\, Compound archers will shoot on a triple face target. \nRegistration:\nRegistration will be open from 8.30am. Archery GB Membership cards will be required for booking in. If you are not yet in possession of a valid card\, please bring proof that you have paid your membership. \nEvent Timings:\nSession A – Assembly 8:45am | Sighters: 9.00am **\nSession B – Assembly 11:45pm | Sighters: 12:00pm\nSession C – Assembly 2.45pm | Sighters: 3.00pm \nLady Paramount:\nT.B.C. \nJudge(s):\nT.B.C \nAwards:\nAwards for single and double rounds subject to the number of entrants for each category. If shooting more than one session\, only the first will count for purposes of awards. \nJuniors: \nAges for junior archers are subject to AGB rule 308 (b): \n308(b) Age Groups (i) An archer may compete in a junior age group where the tournament take place up to and in the year of their birthday prior to the limit on the category. (e.g. if they turned 17 in a year they can compete in an U18 category\, but they cannot turn 18 in the year). An archer may compete for an award shooting a round in a higher age group than their own. \nRefreshments:\nHot food (burgers and bacon rolls)\, cold snacks\, teas\, coffees and cold drinks. \nPhotography:\nThe provisions within the Archery GB Protection of Children and Vulnerable Adult’s policy\, those who wish to take photographs at this event are to register with the Tournament Organiser on arrival. Whilst every effort will be made to ensure that unauthorised photography does not take place\, Archery GB\, the Tournament Organiser and working party cannot be held responsible for breaches of this code. We therefore request that you report any unauthorised photography directly to the Tournament Organiser. \nEntry:\nSingle round: TBD\nCheques payable to ‘Archers Of Raunds’ or bank transfer to BSC 20-45-77 Acc No. 30695416. Please use Archer name and NCAS-AoR-2024 as a reference on the reverse of cheques and for bank transfers\, and send a completed entry form to the Tournament Organiser. \nClosing Date:\n7 days prior to competition date\, or when the shoot is full. DESCRIPTION:The Outdoor Open will be a Western Round so will be as follows: \nDistances: 2 distances such as 100 + 80yds depending on age – Arrows: 8 Dozen Arrows  – Target Face: 122cm – 5 zone scoring \nThere will be one sighter end consisting of 6 arrows.  All ends will be 6 arrows per end. \nFor the single face there are 5 scoring zones from 9 down to 1. Scores will be odd numbers only – i.e. 9\, 7\, 5\, 3 and 1. Gold is 9 points\, red is 7\, blue is 5\, black is 3 and finally white is 1 point. \nAssembly will be at 10:45 with sighters at 11am. Note: There are NO sighters for the second distance. \nNote: There are now only 2 spaces remaining for the Western 60/50. DESCRIPTION:It will be a  Double WA70/60/50 and Metric 122 (40m/30m) Round so will be as follows: \nArrows: 6 Dozen Arrows  – Target Face: 122cm – 10 zone scoring \nThere will be two sighter ends consisting of 6 arrows per end.  All ends will be 6 arrows per end. \nFor the single face there are 10 scoring zones from 10 down to 1.\nThe 2 inner gold rings both count as 10 for recurve\, but only the inner ‘X’ ring counts 10 for a compound archer\, moving out to 9 for the outer gold\, 8 and 7 etc. \nSighters will commence at 10:15 and the scoring round will be 10:25 and 13:15 with scoring round at 13:25. \nLate arrivals will not be able to participate in the scoring round and may need to set up separate bosses (subject to room and availability) whilst the scoring round archers are scoring. \nIf you are not participating in the scoring round then you must not hold up the shooting line!
