Unfortunately, I was unable to make the recent Have-A-Go help at Stanwick lakes as part of their Camelot day. However, despite the weather being changeable and a few spots of rain at times during the session the club gave people the opportunity to shoot a handful of arrows and Archers of Raunds ran a competition throughout the day for the closest to the middle on three bosses. Judged by Flic Kemp (independently of the people there, the winners are:
1st Prize – Tickets to a show provided by Stanwick Lakes.
Robert on Boss 3.
2nd Prize – AoR Beginners course for 1 person at the Manor School in Raunds.
Simon on Boss 1.
3rd Prize – AoR Taster session one Friday evening session 6:30 – 8:30.
Harley on Boss 2.

The AoR team at the event have reported that a good day was had by all and that the day was very successful overall. Stanwick lakes provided a great venue for Have-A-Go shooting and we look forward to more Have-A-Go events being held at the venue in the future.
