Another weekend and another set of PB’s

Icon for AoR RecordsLauren’s 17th birthday kept us away from shooting on Sunday but news of some great successes from the Sunday shoot have just reached me.

Archers of Raunds had 19 archers shooting a Portsmouth round on Sunday 3 March, 16 AoR members (7 AoR juniors) + 3 visitors.  I missed out on the  hot cross buns enjoyed at coffee break (many thanks to Nicola Abbott) but maybe next time.

Anyway, Daniel Sherriff shot his Compound for the first time and established an AoR Compound record for Gents U16 with his score of 304 and Luke Smith shot his first ever Portsmouth scoring round and achieved a great initial personal best of 328.

Ryan Abbott and Imogen Neville both took full advantage of the NCAS County Coaching session on the Saturday and shot personal bests of 385 (Ryan) and Imogen just missed out on the 400 but shot a wonderful 399 – that 400 will not be long coming.

Very well done to you all and please keep up the good work, practice and, above all, keep enjoying your archery.

  1. Hi Martyn,

Good to see AoR is progressing, just got round to updating my blog and you will be impressed with the latest entry which just checking I can claim as a Club record.

    Hope all is good.
